Ingredients
For the porridge:
- 1 tsp organic avocado oil
- 60g sweet potato, diced
- 350ml water
- 35g baby rice
- Carrot, finely diced
- 1 tsp chicken vegetable + broccoli powder
- 1 tsp salmon floss
How to Make Sweet Potato Chicken Porridge
1. Sauté the Sweet Potato
Heat a pot over low to medium heat and add the avocado oil. Add the diced sweet potato and stir-fry gently for a few minutes.
2. Add Water & Bring to a Boil
Pour in 350ml of water and bring it to a boil.
3. Add the Baby Rice
Add 35g of baby rice and stir well to combine.
4. Cook the Porridge
Cover with a lid and cook over medium-low heat. Stir occasionally to prevent the rice from sticking to the bottom.
5. Mash the Sweet Potato
Once the sweet potato becomes soft, gently mash it with the back of a spoon or spatula. This helps create a naturally creamy porridge texture.
6. Add Carrot & Chicken Vegetable + Broccoli Powder
Add the diced carrot and chicken vegetable + broccoli powder. Stir well and continue cooking until the carrot is tender.
7. Cook to Your Desired Thickness
Continue simmering until the porridge reaches the consistency your little one prefers. Add a little more water if needed.
8. Finish with Salmon Floss
Transfer the porridge into a baby-friendly bowl and top with 1 teaspoon of salmon floss.
